The AMGA 2018 Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, featured best practices from many member groups where leaders shared strategies and lessons from con- fronting the myriad challenges of modern healthcare
delivery. Taking on one of the past several years’ more topical
struggles was The Everett Clinic’s discussion, “Opioid Safety:
How to Improve Opioid Prescribing at Your Organization.” Led

insight into how the Washington state institution overcame
challenges inherent to the opioid crisis and how to improve
the safety of opioid prescribing for all patients.
