cates touting the maxim. During a highly regarded breakout
session at AMGA’s 2019 Annual Conference, it became clear
within minutes of her address, “The Business Case for Gender
Equity,” that presenter Joanne Conroy, M.D., president and
CEO, Dartmouth-Hitchcock and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health,
was a devout believer in this proclamation and was set on
convincing her audience that they should be as well, espe-
cially in the workplace.
